About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to join its mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will be a strategic and forward-thinking leader, playing a vital role in shaping and executing the company's financial strategy. This includes leading the financial planning processes, developing annual budgets, and long-term financial models, and ensuring that financial planning is integrated across all departments. The role also involves providing in-depth financial analysis, preparing reports for the Board of Directors, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making. The AVP will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities, and recommending strategies for financial optimization and sustainability. Key responsibilities for the AVP include financial strategy and planning, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insights for decision support. The ideal candidate will have advanced financial analysis and modeling skills, be proficient in financial software, and have a strong background in financial reporting and accounting standards. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with 7-10 years' of experience in financial planning and analysis, and at least 5 years' in a leadership role. The role demands a leader with a transformational mindset, experience in change management, and a high level of cultural competence. The candidate should also have a passion for the company's mission and a commitment to inclusivity and equity.
