CBS Mornings is seeking a hard-working, creative, and enterprising overnight Associate Producer with solid writing experience and strong research abilities. This person will have a firm command of journalistic standards, a keen attention to detail, and excellent newsgathering skills. This role is responsible for producing day-of-air packages and correspondent two-ways. The ideal candidate will have experience working under deadline with reporters. They must also have a strong mastery of conceptualizing visual graphics and creative scripting that works for both television and digital. Skills/experience: 3+ years TV news experience Strong editorial judgement and excellent writing skills Ability to prepare copy and packages for air Understanding of newsgathering and transmission technology Exercise editorial judgment and pitch late breaking developments Must be willing and able to work a Sunday through Thursday overnight schedule (9p – 5a) About the company ViacomCBS Inc.
