Apartment Leasing Consultant – Wausau, WI
Pay: $17–$19/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (occasional Saturdays)

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant to support a local community in Wausau, WI. This role will assist with daily leasing operations, LIHTC application processing , and will also help process new lease-up applications for a new build in the surrounding area. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a compliance-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct property tours and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist with LIHTC application processing and compliance documentation
• Process new lease-up applications for the new build community
• Maintain accurate records, files, and applicant information
• Schedule appointments, follow up with prospects, and manage inquiries
• Support leasing activities including move-ins, renewals, and reporting
• Uphold property standards and ensure a positive resident experience

Requirements:

• Experience with LIHTC / Tax Credit housing required
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Professional communication and customer service abilities
• Sales background is a strong plus
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays as needed
