Administrative Specialist I / Receptionist

Location: Newark, Delaware

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Pay Rate: $15.30 an hour

Essential functions consist of the following:

1. Ability to function in a front-line customer service environment.
2. Ability to maintain a pleasant business demeanor even during challenging customer encounters.
3. Provide support to staff or clients to ensure clients receive expedient and efficient service.
4. Ability to multi-task, answering phones while servicing clients.
5. Greet customer and direct to the appropriate department
6. Answer phones and direct callers to the proper division
7. Utilize a phone log to record all calls in and out.
8. Receive Supplies, Mail, UPS and FedEx deliveries.
9. Unsure all packages & Mail is date stamped
10. Delivering daily mail to appropriate departments.
11. Keeping Printer stocked with supplies
12. Assembling application packets.
13. Assisting with the Purging of ROI’s / PAE’s at the end of every month.
14. Moving the Nurses folder monthly.
15. Help all internal and external clients in a professional manner
16. Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills needed to perform this position:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer Service experience
• Prior Receptionist preferred
• Pass an Administrative Specialist I assessment
• Must have good computer skills.
• Know how to use – Microsoft Outlook and Teams
