The aCremation Advisor is a clerical position with aCremation Funeral Home, receiving incoming calls and making outgoing calls, to provide cremation documentation for a family’s deceased loved one. This Advisor will work directly with the family and the aCremation Funeral Director to ensure a seamless process of cremation.
Compensation : $15 - $17 per hour
Job-Type: Full-Time
Location: 12101 Greenville Ave Suite 118a, Dallas, Texas
Schedule: Monday - Friday and one day every other weekend. Saturday or Sunday (not the whole weekend)
Job Duties
Answer incoming calls regarding deceased persons and dispatching personnel to bring them into our care facilities.
Handle customer inquiries and pricing both by telephone and email.
Research and update individual case details using our specific proprietary computer software.
Be diligent in the precise procedures and documents relating to cremation authorizations.
Document and complete any and all case notes and caller information in the database.
Bilingual is a plus.
Qualifications
Previous experience with a funeral home is preferred not required.
Must have dependable, high-speed internet connection in your home (away from office scheduled time on that one day every other weekend)
When working from your home, you must have a quiet environment and free from all distractions.
Have a mental passion and willingness to help persons who have lost a loved one.
Strong work ethic with eagerness to be a team player.
Must be able to listen and manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
Must be able to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of our organization.
Needs to have a congenial personality and display a high level of professionalism.
Must be very detailed and possess the ability to multi-task successfully.
Possess typing and 10 key skills for data entry.
Computer literacy including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, database programs, and general use of Internet.
Adhere to a business casual dress code.
Be able to follow instructions and respond to direction.
