Our local client is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. As a accounts payable clerk, you will be part of the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external departments which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Account Payable Specialist

Location: Mills River NC

Pay Range: $20-$22/hour

What’s the Job?

• responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices
• Process a high volume of vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Use QBO’s AI capabilities to automate vendor bill entry and streamline AP workflows
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for verification and approval
• Manage payment runs, including check processing, ACH, and wire transfers

What’s Needed?

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Experience working in a multi-location or multi-entity environment
• Experience with QuickBooks; QuickBooks Online preferred
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting
