We are seeking a talented Accounting & Financial Analyst to drive thoughtful insight and analysis for the business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll provide support for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will understand how to examine quantitative, market, and anecdotal information to summarize trends and make sound suggestions regarding where risks and opportunities exist. This role requires strong analytical skills and a high degree of internal collaboration.

About the Responsibilities

• Invoicing and Commission reporting management for the financial team
• Accounts Payable and Expense Management
• Payroll review and management w/CFO
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, including collaboration with other department leaders
• Maintain and update the executive scorecard with CFO and COO and continuously evaluate metrics for relevance
• Develop a deep functional understanding of the daily operations and economics of the business
• Review, analyze and interpret budget versus actual reports to develop observations and preliminary recommendations
• Develop and ensure accuracy of data in sales, financial, and people information systems
• Assist with external and internal reporting – GAAP experience is important.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in corporate finance, accounting, FP&A, transaction advisory, banking, or other analytical roles
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or similar disciplines preferred
• Prior insurance, finance or tech-enabled services business model experience preferred
• Intellectually curious
• High attention to detail
• Exposure to advanced Excel - Have you worked with Power Query, Power Pivot, and data models to manipulate and manage large datasets? SalesForce and Power Bi experience is a plus
• Ability to work with ambiguity
• Action oriented
• Software experience required: QuickBooks Online, Excel, ADP Workforce,
