Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company in Chicago with a search for an accountant. This is a temporary opportunity to assist with year end activities. They are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience as an accountant and a Bachelors in Accounting.
Responsibilities:
Assist with month end/quarter end and year end close activities and reporting
Prepare journal entries and accruals
Reconcile assigned accounts
Discrepancy resolution and variance analysis
Fixed assets
General ledger analysis
Support financial statement preparation and reporting
Required:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in an accountant role with similar responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Microsoft Excel pivot tables and look ups
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Analytical skills
Pay: $34 -$38/hour
